The love of the game

If there’s AFL being played anywhere in Australia, the chances are, JAMTV is in the game.

The country’s largest independent producer of sport and sports entertainment shows has cemented itself as one of the leading producers of Australia’s most popular game and will this year, produce in excess of 330 hours of AFL content across a wide variety of platforms.

Without a doubt, this is JAMTV’s biggest season of AFL yet.

“Each year, we produce and broadcast more than 500 hours of general sports content for Australia’s major broadcasters, both FTA and Pay Television,” JAMTV’s Chief Executive Officer Cos Cardone stated.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be significantly expanding our content in 2017 across the AFL, AFLW, SANFL, WAFL and VFL.”

Cardone added JAMTV’s involvement in Australian Rules this season further consolidates the company’s position in the sporting industry as a premier producer and broadcaster.

“We produced 24 AFLW broadcasts for both the Seven Network and Fox Footy, culminating in the blockbuster Grand Final between Brisbane Lions and Adelaide Crows,” he said.

“JAMTV will be back again with Friday Night Countdown, Talking Footy and for the first time, The Kick which airs on Saturday nights.”

Cardone, a Director at the Port Adelaide Football Club since 2013, believes JAMTV’s football coverage has something for everyone.

“As football fans, we have an insatiable appetite for more and more content of our great game,” he said. “The incredible growth of the State Leagues over the last three years and the success we’ve seen with the new women’s competition highlights the diversity we have at every level. We genuinely enjoy our broadcast involvement at every one of these levels.”
